Following China landslide more than 120 people are still missing in Sichuan province in the China’s south-western region, Chinese state media say.
The reports also say, around 40 houses were destroyed by this landslide in the Xinmo village, Maoxian county, after one side of a hill collapsed at around 10:00 pm GMT, local time 06:00.
Chinese mountain rescue team was deployed to the area and they are searching for people who are currently trapped under the rocks that dislodged by the China heavy rainfall.
As per local official, five people are dead that confirmed by the media too.
The President of China Xi Jinping urged mountain rescuers to “spare no effort”.
AFP news agency reports, a baby and a couple were rescued and they were taken to the hospital after rescue team used ropes to slide the rocks and found them.
