BT reshaping after challenging year cutting 4,000 jobs

British Telecom said on Thursday that the company would cut around 4,000 jobs in their global services sector that provide services to multinational and state back its profit dividend plans in a driving seat to recover from their over profiting stat scandal.

The accounting scandal were in their Italy market inJanuaryy 2017, that combined with a huge profit warning descend from a slow growth in the services it provides for governments, which sent a large scale plunging into BT’s share, by wiping around £8bn from the company’s total value.

The group has been describing the year as very challenging as it just reported a slow growth of four-quarter revenue of around £6.12bn that up 10% from last reports.
