Critically-ill baby boy Charlie Gard’s parents return to London High Court, whose health condition has captured worldwide attention.
The judge is set to hear the final arguments about why Ormond street hospital should not turn off the boy’s life support.
Baby Charlie suffers from a rare genetic disorder causing weakness in muscle and brain damage. His parents have raised money to travel to the U.S. for an unproven treatment. They are currently facing a legal battle over this experimental treatment.
On the other hand, the British court which is backed by the EU court of human rights has not permitted to travel and undergo this new treatment by saying this would prolong Charlie’s suffering.
