An oil-carrying tanker crashed in the city of Bahawalpur, Pakistan that exploded and killed 120 people.
The oil tanker crash took place in Pakistan on Sunday, many of the dead went to the site to collect leaked fuel, were killed when the leaked fuel came into contact with a lit cigarette, officials said.
Reports suggest the tanker driver overturned on a bend on Highway, just outskirts of the City. The driver completely lost control of the vehicle when one of the wheels had a blow, a local government spokesperson said.
After the crashed, a large group of people gathered at the scene, and most of them were rushing to collect the leaked fuel; within the 45 minutes of the crash, the tanker exploded in a big fireball.
The rescue worker and firefighter said, more than 80 people had been injured.
20 Children were among the 120 people dead.
