A major explosion took place near the Syrian Damascus International Airport. The whole area shook the blast.
According to a BBC online report on Thursday, the UK-based Observer group cited the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
The head of the Observatory, Ramee Abdel Rahman, said there was a loud explosion. The capitalists could hear it.
The airport is located about 25 kilometres south-east of Damascus, the capital of Syria.
Information is available as a result of a large fire after the blast occurred.
There was no immediate information about the casualties in the blast.
The reason for the fire or explosions is not known.
Civil war has been going on in Syria since 2011. More than 300,000 people have been killed in this war. Millions of Syrians have been displaced.
There is no sign of ending this civil war for more than six years.
