Ministers in the UK are now looking to make harder for British holidaymakers to plan for fake food poisoning claims.
Spanish hotels and travel industry chiefs have raised a serious concern on bogus insurance claims.
They also warned that Huge insurance claim payout meaning the British tourist will count more on their holiday package and may be barred from some of the resorts.
The government are planning to reduce cash reward of bringing this type of cases against holiday companies/firms.
David Lidington, Justice Secretary said, he wanted to keep the legal cost down that travel companies had to pay for this type of claims.
Mr Lidington also, “Our message to those making fake sickness claim is very clear, your course of action is hampering others right and will not be acceptable.”
The issues recently triggered Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson to carefully observe British people digestive systems “had become the most delicate in the world”.
World Travel body ABTA said it “strongly welcomed” the move UK government took.
