Happy Valley becomes best at BAFTA award

The ‘BAFTA TV Award’ was held on Sunday night in London’s Royal Festival. This is the biggest award ceremony for the British small screen.

It was speculated that Netflix’s big budget ‘royal’ drama ‘The Crown’ may well get the award for best drama. Because the 5 nominations were ahead of the ‘Crown’. But the prize went to the BBC’s ‘Happy Valley’. And starring Sarah Lancashire won the best actress award.
Adil Akhtar of ‘Murdered by My Father’ became the best actor with the help of ‘Sherlock’ Benedict Kambarbatch. Kambarbach was nominated for the drama ‘The Hollow Crown: The Wars of the Rojas’.

Yunami Mosaku won the award for actress, ‘Demi Lola Hour Love Boy’ for drama. Actor in the drama ‘The Night Manager’, along with acting actor Tom Hollander got the award.
