The tech giant Google has admitted its wide-spread web connectivity problem in the State of Japan, East Asia was the result of its mistake.
The web traffic that was intended for the Japanese ISP sent to Google instead.
Japanese gaming sites, railway payment system and online banking were those affected by this connectivity issues.
“It was a network configuration error”, said a spokesman which lasted for just eight minutes on Friday but some services it took hours to come back to normal.
Nintendo gaming company reported for a poor connectivity as per the Japan Times.
The Japan’s Internal Affairs and Communications Ministry has ordered a full investigation into this matter.
