Lloyds bank suspended trading Qatari Riyals

British Lloyds Banking Group has said on Friday; it stopped trading all kinds of Qatari Riyals. It also said the Qatari currency is not available at all for selling or buying back at the branch.

A spokesperson for this Lloyds bank said the “supplier” who full fills the bank’s foreign currency service had ended trading the Qatari currency from the 21 June 2017.

She also added, “from 21 June 2017, the currency is not longer on sale or buy-back at our high street branch, and that including Halifax and Bank of Scotland (RBS).”
