Turkey’s media has said 45 to 78 Russian soldiers have been rescued since the conflict. More than 15 soldiers are missing.

The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement that the crew of Limon, who is engaged in research work, is trying to re-launch it. The vessel collided with the Ashte 7 ship, 40 kilometres north-west of Bosphorus. It damaged the superstructure of the vessel. Russian news agencies published this statement.

In the Russian statement, it has been said that the crew had no casualties on the ship. They are trying to ‘resume’ the ship. Apart from this, other Russian ships and an aeroplane left the scene.

The Russian military said that they are trying to identify the ship owner of the Ash-7 ship.

In February, military sources told Russian media that they could monitor NATO drills in the Black Sea.
